Registration for the long-awaited
Weapons Tournament is open from today through Friday! We've had cups with checkpoints before, but this time only certain weapons will be allowed on each map. Apart from that the format is already established: Saturday qualifiers on 5 maps (all players play at once), and Sunday double elimination for 8 (or fewer) players. Unfortunately,
we can't guarantee cash prizes for non-Russian players cause of government policies, although we won't completely rule it out.
- Date and time:
qualifiers - June 6, 17:00 Moscow time (UTC+3)
double elimination - June 7, 17:00 Moscow time (UTC+3)
- Checkpoints allowed, and the weapon for each map is determined beforehand
- Maps tier: average-hard and hard
- Money prizes are given to the first 6 places (1$ = 71 rubles now):
1 place - 15000 rubles
2 place - 11000 rubles
3 place - 7000 rubles
4 place - 4000 rubles
5 place - 2000 rubles
Qualifiers take place on 5 maps according to our rating scheme. If there are too many players we divide all participants into groups. The first group plays all 5 map, then the second, etc.
Read details
- Each map is played once.
- After map change you will see menu where you should confirm that you are ready. As soon as everyone is ready, cup admin initiates start. You don't need to press start button, but you have to press the finish (unless maximum time has expired).
- There are hidden checkpoints placed all over the map (your progress won't reset even if you fall back). If maximum map time is over and you haven't reached the finish, server will suppose that you passed the map with maximum time plus some addition, based on the number of remaining checkpoints. If more than one player have the same last checkpoint, server will take in consideration the order of reaching it.
- If you die then you will be teleported somewhere at the middle of your path (number of last checkpoint is divided by two).
- Passing time will be automatically turned into points just like on main servers (article about points system). Points on maps (and on cups) are summed. At the end of the season players will take prizes.

Based on the results of the qualifiers, the 8 best players advance to the double elimination, which takes place on 6 sets if 5 maps each (except for the final, there we have 7 maps). Before the match begins, two opponents cross out one map in a special menu (the player with the higher score is the second to cross out), then the player with the lower score chooses the order in which the remaining three maps will be played. The first one to score two wins (three wins for the final) is considered the winner of the match.
